Christine Smith... the newest member of Marah

Christine Smith plays keyboards and backing vocals in Marah. She has added so much to the band in concert. I was also pleasantly surprised to hear her all over the new album Angels of Destruction, which will be out in January, taking their recorded work to whole other level of greatness, in my opinion. She's been an important addition to the band, completing a new lineup of dedicated, versatile, amazing musicians.

Before Marah, she spent a lot of time backing up another one of my favorite artists, Jesse Malin. She is also a solo artist with an excellent debut album Tomorrow Blues. For more on Christine, go to http://www.myspace.com/christinesmithnyc

Marah w/ Bruce Springsteen at Light of Day 7

Before Bruce Springsteen took the stage w/ Joe Grushecky and the Houserockers at Light of Day 7 Benefit, he joined his friends in Marah for two songs to close out their set, "Raise Your Hand" and Marah's unreleased gem "Reservation Girl." From the Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, NJ on December 2, 2006.
